Oesi joins AFIDEP as a Communications and Policy Engagement Manager to be based in the Malawi Office.<\/p>\n
She is a professional skilled communicator, tech-savvy and strategic communications leader. Oesi has strong communication and presentation abilities to deliver promotional campaigns, media addresses, lectures and produce reports for varied audiences locally and internationally. She has a profound understanding of the importance of good publicity, and timely response to public relations inquiries in the development and success of an organisation.<\/p>\n
She brings in over ten years of experience in public education, policy advocacy, project management and media engagement having worked in leadership roles with the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development – Botswana, the Botswana Television under the Ministry of Communications Science and Technology, The Breakfast Show and The Eye Current Affairs among others.<\/p>\n
Oesi holds a Masters in Media and Journalism from Rhodes University Grahamstown, Republic of South Africa, and a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Economics and Statistics) from the University of Botswana.<\/p>\n
In her free time, Oesi enjoys reading memoirs, writing blogs and thus interact a lot with reading and writing groups\/clubs and enjoy hosting such.
