Martin joins AFIDEP as a Driver\/ Logistics Assistant.<\/p>\n
His work will entail driving the office vehicle for the transportation of authorised personnel, collecting and delivering mail, and other day -to \u2013day vehicle maintenance activities such as checking oil, water, battery, brakes, tyres\u00a0 etc . He will also ensure that the vehicle is kept clean at all times, and log all daily mileage and gas consumption data;\u00a0 and lastly ,carry out banking\/financial and other office out door messenger duties.<\/p>\n
Martin holds a Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) certificate, a Malawi Road Traffic Defensive Certificate, a United Nations Department of Safety and Security Defensive Certificate, and a World Food Program (WFP) Defensive Certificate. He also comes with over 10 years\u2019 experience as a driver, having worked with ACDI\/VOCA under the Wala Program, DAI- Feed The Future Project, and the United Nation Word Food Program(WFP). Furthermore, he is a highly trained professional with good communication skills, expertise in traffic laws and knowledge of vehicle maintenance, safe deliveries of organisation staff and items, as well as expertise\u00a0in Fleet Management and Logistics.<\/p>\n
